Sinem Yazici, founder of Tailor Made Istanbul was born in Antalya, Turkey. She moved to Istanbul at the age of 18 and graduated from the Marmara University with a Public Relations and Advertising BA. She worked in international advertising agencies. Major corporations recruited her to work in their advertising department where she quickly became an executive. Her appetite for travelling around the world and exploring the unbeaten paths became a way of life for her. She preferred to discover her destinations the way she would enjoy the most. Her approach to travel formed the idea of tailor made experiences. Sinem´s great passion for personalised services and her over 15 years of advertising background helped her create Tailor Made Istanbul. She concentrated on arranging unique travel to her beloved city. Her sterling reputation swiftly became known among travel communities and discerned travelers who then extended their demand for her services. Sinem speaks fluent English, conversational German and Italian. She enjoys traveling, listening to music, dancing, singing, contemporary art and capturing moments through her lens. She is also a professional voice over for various brands.

Arzu Cohen, marketing coordinator of Tailor Made Istanbul was born in Stuttgart, Germany. Her family moved to Antalya, Turkey when she was 6. Arzu moved to Istanbul to attend Marmara University where she obtained her B.A. in Journalism. She worked at several advertising agencies during her college years and continued after her graduation. In 2002 Arzu met her now husband Josh Cohen. The couple moved to New York in 2003. Arzu worked at the Turkish Consulate General in New York as the assistant marketing manager. They relocated to Seattle in 2005 where she started a successful career in retail. This experience gave her the necessary leadership, people management and organization skills essential for to run a successful business. Arzu moved back to Istanbul with her husband Josh in 2010. Her paths crossed with Sinem shortly after.Their similar vision about business and travel led them to join forces. Arzu brought her marketing experience to the table for Tailor Made Istanbul. Arzu is fluent in English and speaks conversational German and Spanish. She enjoys exploring world cuisines, travelling, yoga, following artists and discovering the hidden treasures of Istanbul. Arzu is also an independent filmmaker where she holds a certificate from the University of Washington.
